This online program is part of our care model for the endometriosis and pelvic pain clinic. We’ve created it to make sure every patient starts with the same clear, supportive information before their first appointment.
By completing Modules 1–6, you’ll learn more about your body, pelvic pain, and what to expect at the clinic. Once you’re done, our team will be in touch to book your appointment.
Doing this learning means your time in the clinic can focus on what really matters to you. Your symptoms, your goals, and your care.
You’ll also find extra resources and optional learning modules to support your ongoing health and wellbeing.
The Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic is delivered by Northside Health NT and funded by the Australian Government until June 2028, to provide specialised care for pelvic pain and endometriosis.
Our clinic is part of a national endometriosis initiative to improve access to care, reduce diagnostic delays and deliver multidisciplinary, person-centred care. We provide services at no or low cost.
If you are a girl, woman, or were assigned female at birth and experience pelvic pain and/or endometriosis, you are eligible to access this service.
This education program is one part of our care model — designed to support your understanding, help you feel prepared, and make the most of your time with us.
After completing Modules 1–5, you will let us know by doing the Online Modules Completion Form. We will then contact you by email with the next steps. You will complete two Intake Questionnaires which provide us with information about your concerns and issues. One of our practitioners uses this information to triage your intake and determine which practitioner would be the most appropriate for your initial appointment. After the initial appointment, you and the practitioners will decide what appointments will be booked for you next.
The intake and triage process may take several weeks. This varies depending on our current wait list. Please feel free to follow-up with us if you are wondering what is happening.
While you wait, you can explore the optional learning modules and resources on this site. These are designed to support your wellbeing and expand your knowledge in the lead-up to your appointment. This may help you clarify what you want to focus on in your appointments. It may also give you self-management strategies to try that you haven't thought of yet.

Government Funding
The Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic Expansion receives grant funding from the Australian Government via the NTPHN. The basis for allocating this funding was the 2018 National Action Plan for Endometriosis, which provides a platform for improving the awareness, understanding, treatment of and research into endometriosis and associated chronic pelvic pain in Australia.
